Venrec is recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant for a practice in Newport, Isle of Wight.
The ideal candidate should be AAT qualified or have equivalent practice training.
At least 3 years of recent practice experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities include preparing annual accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping, and self-assessment tax returns.
The salary for this role is negotiable.

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their practice based in Newport, Isle of Wight

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Ideally AAT qualified, but practice trained candidates will be considered
At least 3 years recent practice experience
Experience working in a varied and busy environment

The role entails:

Preparing annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparing VAT returns
Bookkeeping (experience using both cloud and desktop based software)
Preparing self assessment tax returns
Dealing with client queries relevant to level of experience

The salary for this role is negotiable
