We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Services Manager to lead our clientstechnical compliance and food safety initiatives. This pivotal role ensures our products meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and quality, while fostering continuous improvement across the business. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to uphold our commitment to excellence.

Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and improve QMS aligned with BRCGS, HACCP, and SALSA standards.
  • Lead internal audits and manage third-party audit readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with UK/EU legislation and customer codes of practice.
  • Manage HACCP plans and conduct risk assessments.
  • Oversee technical specifications for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and develop the technical services team.
  • Deliver training on food safety and quality standards.

Skills

  • Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field or relevant experience in a long term role
  • Demonstrable experience in managing BRCGS and retailer audits.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in technical/quality management within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation and standards.
