We are working exclusively with an established leading brand within the UK who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will join a driven finance team and will be responsible for:

  • Collection of outstanding debts , both commercial and consumer debt
  • Maintaining accurate customer records
  • Contacting customers by phone, letter and email
  • Monitoring account balances and ensuring timely payments within agreed terms
  • Liaising with departments to resolve any disputes
  • Escalate high risk accounts when necessary to the Finance Manager
  • Setting up customer accounts
  • Allocating payments
  • Producing aged debt reports
  • Dealing with rebate and reclaims
  • Processing credit application forms
  • Negotiating payment plans

Ideal candidates:

  • Previous credit control experience ideally in manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadline s
  • Opera experience - an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills including VLookUps
