Reed Warrington is looking to recruit 2 x Billings Query Investigators for an industry leading organisation located in Newton-le-Willows, Warrington. 

This is a 6-month temporary contract starting ASAP, the salary is £25,000 and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 - 100% office based.

The successful candidates will be responsible for resolving invoice disputes and investigating billing queries. The ideal candidates will have strong analytical and communication skills to ensure all payment barriers are resolved efficiently within my client’s process frameworks. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve disputes, claims, invoice queries and complaints from customers or other stakeholders.
  • Analyse each dispute to determine the appropriate resolution approach.
  • Oversee the entire dispute process from initial assessment to final resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Conduct and document thorough investigations into the facts surrounding disputes and gather all relevant evidence.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of the dispute resolution process and case progress.

Specification

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple disputes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or administrative position is preferred.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
