Financial Controller – REED Exclusive

Reed Finance has been exclusively appointed to recruit a Financial Controller for a rapidly growing and internationally expanding business in the Newtownabbey area.

The Financial Controller will oversee the finance function of the business, working closely with the Director of Finance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective treasury and cash management. This role will provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making, optimise cash flow, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and corporate governance requirements.  Key areas of responsibility include:

About you:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Experience in treasury management, cash flow optimisation, and banking relationships
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and corporate governance
  • Experience managing a finance team and implementing process improvements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Business Centre ERP other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Power BI).
