30,321 per annum / 14.58 per hour (Dependant on experience)
Hours:
6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm (Weekly rotating shifts, Monday to Friday)



The Role

As a General Assistant, you will provide hands-on support to Machine Operators, ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality output. You'll gain valuable experience across various aspects of the manufacturing floor - from preparing machines and handling materials to developing the skills needed to progress into a Machine Operator role.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support Machine Operators in the setup and operation of print and packaging machinery

  • Load and unload materials efficiently across production lines

  • Assist with ink changes, machine cleaning, and line maintenance between production runs

  • Monitor product quality and promptly report any faults or defects

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace

  • Carry out general production and warehouse duties as required



About You

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage, but not essential

  • Enthusiastic, hard-working, and eager to learn new skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency

  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
