About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Children in Care (CIC) Service - West. This is a pivotal role providing oversight for all children in care, including those subject to legal proceedings where permanency plans are being determined, as well as children with a plan to remain long-term in care.

The CIC service delivers court work from interim care orders through to final orders, so you must be confident managing complex cases and supporting your team through legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management to the CIC team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee care planning and permanency decisions for children in care.
  • Support and guide staff through court proceedings and statutory requirements.
  • Promote relationship-based practice with children, families, and carers to plan effectively for every child's future.
