About the Company
Our client is a UK-based manufacturer and distributor of safety products for the construction industry. They supply a wide range within their field. They also specialise in site safety solutions to contractors, distributors, and hire companies nationwide.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts, develop client relationships, and support the expanding team.

The Role
This is a full-time, hands-on position based at our Northampton office, with regular travel to client sites and projects across the UK.
The role involves managing existing accounts, developing new business, guiding the sales team, and working closely with operations and marketing to drive overall growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead sales activities and help meet revenue targets
Develop strategies to grow the customer base and increase market presence
Manage key client relationships and support the internal sales team
Attend meetings and visit construction sites to assess needs and close deals
Work with operations, marketing, and management to align goals
Prepare pipeline reports and contribute to sales forecasting

What Theyre Looking For
Solid background in B2B sales (construction, safety products, manufacturing, or similar)
Confidence in managing client accounts and building new relationships
Good understanding of sales cycles, commercial awareness, and negotiation
Comfortable visiting live construction sites and working with contractors
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Experience with CRM systems is helpful
Some knowledge of the construction industry is a bonus, but not essential
