Job role: CNC Machinist
Salary: 拢33,000-拢37,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-18:00聽Friday 07:30-16:00
Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays
We are supporting a manufacturing company in Northampton, in their search for a CNC Machinist.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to learn the industry, improve your skills and develop.
Position Summary:
路 Under limited supervision, prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks which include drilling, milling and grinding.
路 Keep records of materials and time used on jobs.
路 Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
路 Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
路 Prepare and load raw materials onto the machinery.
路 Support engineering with parts for research and development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
路 CNC and manual machining knowledge and 3+ years experience.
路 Ability to read mechanical drawings.
路 General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
路 Mechanical skills.
路 Ability to work as part of a team.
路 Strong communication skills.
Qualifications:
路 Engineering apprenticeship, City & Guilds parts 1 & 2 would be advantageous.
