As a Collections Advisor you will Engage customers via phone, email, SMS and letters to discuss outstanding balances
- Negotiate fair, affordable repayment plans in line with client guidelines
- Manage both inbound and outbound customer contacts efficiently
- Record and update customer information accurately in Debtrak
- Administer rule-based trace instructions according to policy
- Ensure every interaction meets FCA regulations and internal procedures
- Contribute to a positive, customer-first culture
Collections Advisor attributes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A fair-minded, empathetic approach to customer support
- Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes and meet regulatory standards
- Resilience and confidence handling sensitive conversations
- Previous experience in collections, contact centres or financial services is a plus but not essential
