The RoleWe are looking for a kind, enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant. Working closely with their experienced KS1 teachers, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and wellbeing both in the classroom and during small group or one-to-one activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the teaching and learning of pupils in KS1

  • Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning

  • Assist in preparing classroom resources and maintaining a positive learning environment

  • Support behaviour management and pastoral care

  • Contribute to the life of the school, including events and enrichment activities

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

  • A calm, caring and patient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine interest in child development

  • A relevant TA qualification (Level 2 or above) is beneficial but not essential
