Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team for a maternity cover role starting in June 2025.

�? About the Role:

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils with a range of needs, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in a nurturing learning environment. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent from September 2025.

?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
? Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred)
  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
