Junior Admin Assistant – Credit Control SupportLocation: NorthamptonSalary: £25,300 – £26,000 DOEHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pmWe are seeking a proactive and organised Admin Assistant to work alongside our clients Credit Controller in a busy, fast-paced finance department. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in credit control, with full training provided. My client is a local business, that is seeking additional support due to growth, this is a lovely role to join a warm and vibrant team. Duties
  • Responding to incoming emails and managing the credit control inbox.
  • Filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Following up on outstanding emails to chase overdue payments.
  • Confidently picking up the phone to contact customers regarding outstanding debt.
  • Updating and maintaining debtor records
  • Assisting the Credit Controller with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to produce and manage documentation.
The Candidate
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate professionally.
  • Proactive and able to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • An interest in building a career in finance.
