Due to a period of growth, our client based in Northampton are looking to add a Gearbox Mechanic to their team. The role is mechanically bias and will involve maintaining a variety of gearboxes and axles.

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, diagnose and repair a wide range of gearboxes.
* Inspect gearbox systems to identify faults and carry out necessary repairs.
* Fault find and troubleshoot components to pinpoint issues and ensure correct functionality.
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
* Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines when handling equipment
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion.

Requirements:
* Must have some mechanical knowledge (previous gearbox experience is beneficial but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, hardworking, and keen to learn.
