Teaching Assistants, HLTAs & Learning Support Assistants - Northampton

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's education? We are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants , and Learning Support Assistants to support schools across Northampton.

Location: Northampton and surrounding areas
Role Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: ASAP Or September 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and role



About the Role

We are working with a variety of primary and secondary schools across Northampton who require skilled support staff to assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing tailored support for pupils, and helping students achieve their full potential.

Whether you're looking to work 1:1, in small groups, or in a classroom setting, we have flexible full-time roles that can match your skills and interests.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and reaching their learning goals

  • Work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans and learning activities

  • Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Assist in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff



Essential Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

  • Experience working with children (school, tutoring, childcare, youth work, etc.)

  • Experience with SEN children is highly desirable



Desirable:

  • HLTA qualification or relevant TA qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3)

  • Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges
