We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in Northampton. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual who is committed to supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver individualised lessons that cater to the specific needs of each student.• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to engage and participate actively.• Assess students' progress regularly and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs.• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.• Implement and manage classroom resources effectively to enhance learning experiences.• Attend and contribute to training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated with the latest educational practices and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Must be a qualified teacher with a valid teaching certification.• Experience in special education is highly preferred.• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.• Patience, creativity, and dedication to student development and education.
