Production Manager required for a leading manufacturer of injection moulded products based in the Northampton area. The successful Production Manager will be managing the Mould shop and planning departments whilst carrying out conflict resolutions and continuous improvements within the business.
Production Manager Job Overview- Management and leadership of production, safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement area to achieve targets and objectives
- Recruiting and training of shop floor staff
- Carrying out production planning
- Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work and to formally assess team performance against objectives.
- Working with the HR Manager to Manage and Resolve Conflicts internally and carry out investigations
- Carrying out Continuous Improvement and lean manufacturing projects across the operations of the business
- Strong background as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in the injection moulding industry is desirable
- Qualifications within Engineering / Manufacturing are desirable
- Based in a commutable distance of Northampton
- Full UK Driving License
- Salary £36,000 - £42,000 - Dependent upon experience
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00, Friday 08:00 - 13:00. Permanent position.
