They are now looking to expand our team with a skilled and dedicated Payroll Specialist who will support our team in managing payroll functions and ensuring smooth, accurate processing.

Role Overview:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be an integral part of our payroll team, providing vital support to our professionals in processing payrolls for a variety of clients. You will ensure compliance with all payroll legislation, address client queries, and support the team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of payrolls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings, including PAYE, NIC, and other statutory deductions
  • Handling and resolving payroll-related queries from clients and employees
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the payroll team with ad-hoc tasks and deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate records and payroll reports for clients
  • Assisting with year-end processes, including P60s, P11Ds, and other compliance documentation
  • Collaborating with team members to improve payroll processes and efficiency

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in payroll administration, within an accountancy
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the role
