Compliance Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced compliance Manager, to be based out of their Northampton site. Focused on ensuring regulatory and legal compliance as well as adherence to internal policies. The position involves managing certifications, compliance programmes, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement, while monitoring evolving legislation and implementing necessary changes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead both internal and external audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Manage compliance reporting requirements, including pEPR, PRN, WEEE, battery submissions, EUDR, CBAM, ESG, carbon, and sustainability metrics.
  • Administer and renew certifications, including BRCGS Food Storage & Distribution, FSC, and ISO 14001:2015.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Track regulatory developments, provide updates, and implement necessary compliance processes.
  • Prepare and deliver compliance reports and documentation for operational meetings.


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven background in compliance.
  • Knowledge of BRCGS, FSC, ISO14001.
  • Proficiency in internal and external auditing.
  • Strong written communication and understanding of legal/regulatory frameworks.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and risk management.
  • Adaptable to evolving legislation with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Excel and other key business platforms.
  • Effective both working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Desirable: knowledge of pEPR, WEEE, battery legislation
