Purchase Ledger Assistant | Northampton | Up to £15ph | Hybrid Working

Macildowie are working with this client based in Northampton to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to support their Commercial Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance or commercial support professional to step into a temporary role offering up to £15 per hour. This assignment is expected to last a minimum of 3 months, with potential to extend, and offers flexible hybrid working - up to two days from home once training is complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of purchase orders and invoice queries
  • Support with timesheet processing and administrative tasks
  • Assist a PA three days a week on POS and invoice queries
  • Support construction two days a week with timesheets and additional admin
  • Use COINS to accurately process purchase invoices
  • Resolve discrepancies across purchase orders, invoices, and receipts

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger, invoice processing, and order placement
  • Familiarity with COINS software (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong administrative experience in finance or commercial environments
  • Confident communication and a collaborative work ethic
  • Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
