Macildowie are working with this client based in Silverstone, Northamptonshire, to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic role within the motorsport industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performance environment, contributing to the financial operations of a leading organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process all treasury functions, including bank reconciliations and credit card account management.
- Assist in the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Analyse financial data to interpret operational impacts on revenues and costs.
- Support the development and maintenance of a robust control environment to mitigate financial risks.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and monthly reporting.
- Respond to and resolve financial queries promptly.
- Provide support to Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
Key Requirements:
- AAT Qualified or Working towards AAT Qualification or a similar accounting qualification
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to meet deadlines.
- Experience with NetSuite accounting system is advantageous but not essential.
