Northamptonshire - Supervising Social Worker - Fostering Team - 35 p/h Umb
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join the Fostering Team in Northamptonshire.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervising and supporting foster carers to provide high-quality care to children and young people.
* Conducting regular visits and assessments of foster carers and children in placement.
* Providing guidance and professional advice to carers on child development, safeguarding, and placement issues.
* Completing statutory paperwork, reports, and records in line with local authority procedures.
* Liaising with multi-agency teams to ensure children's needs are met.
* Participating in recruitment, training, and development of foster carers.
* Monitoring and reviewing placements to ensure safety, quality of care, and positive outcomes for children.
Working Pattern:
* Full-time, office and fieldwork-based
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience in children's social care, preferably fostering or placement experience
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance
