SEN Teacher

Aspire People are seeking passionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teachers to work across a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools and Alternative Provision settings in Northamptonshire. We are looking for qualified teachers with a strong understanding of inclusive education who can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and MLD/SLD.This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who thrive in a flexible role, enjoy variety in their work, and are committed to making a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with diverse SEN needs- Plan and adapt lessons to accommodate individual learning needs and EHCP targets- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and other professionals- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour strategies- Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all timesRequirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent- Experience working in SEN settings or with students with special educational needs- Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- A proactive and resilient attitude- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)- Right to work in the UKWho are Aspire People?
