Are you a Geo-Environmental or Geotechnical Engineer looking for a new, exciting and technically challenging position in ground investigation and contaminated land? This civil, structural and environmental consultancy are seeking an ambitious Engineering Geologist to join their team near Cheshire. You'll be provided with the resources and specialist support to develop your skills and work on a vast range of projects.

The successful Engineering Geologist will be offered:

The Engineering Geologist selected for the position will work on a variety of different projects, with approximately 40% of their time spent in office (or working from home), and the rest working on technically challenging sites. They'll be borehole logging, supervising ground investigations, carrying out risk assessments and Phase I desktop studies, writing factual and interpretive reports and carrying out in-situ testing. Prior experience in a geotechnical or geo-environmental position is therefore essential.

The successful Engineering Geologist will:

  • Have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, earth sciences or a related subject.
  • Have experience as a geotechnical or geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
  • Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
  • Be commutable to Cheshire.
  • Willing to travel to sites and work in office.
