Are you a compassionate and dedicated support professional with experience in specialist education settings? We're a leading education supply agency looking for exceptional Support Staff to work in PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) schools across Stockport, Cheshire East and Tameside.

Your Role Will Involve:
  • Supporting children with complex medical and physical needs

  • Providing personal care, including toileting and hygiene support

  • PEG feeding and administering medication in line with care plans

  • Tracheostomy care (training may be provided for the right candidates)

  • Supporting non-verbal children, including those who use PECs (Picture Exchange Communication System) and visual timetables

  • Assisting children who are wheelchair users with mobility and transfers

  • Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

You Should Have:
  • Previous experience in a PMLD or SEN setting

  • Confidence in delivering personal care and medical support

  • A strong understanding of alternative communication methods

  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to support

  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
