We're a leading education supply agency looking for exceptional Support Staff to work in PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) schools across Stockport, Cheshire East and Tameside.

Your Role Will Involve:-
Supporting children with complex medical and physical needs

Providing personal care, including toileting and hygiene support

PEG feeding and administering medication in line with care plans
-
Tracheostomy care (training may be provided for the right candidates)

Supporting non-verbal children, including those who use PECs (Picture Exchange Communication System) and visual timetables
-
Assisting children who are wheelchair users with mobility and transfers
-
Creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
-
Previous experience in a PMLD or SEN setting

Confidence in delivering personal care and medical support

A strong understanding of alternative communication methods
-
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to support

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
