Reed Finance Norwich are delighted to be working with a long-standing client of ours to recruit for an Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our client’s network of accountants by addressing accountancy and tax queries. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive, inclusive environment and is keen on building relationships within the network. You will have the opportunity to engage in accountancy training and contribute to the growth and development of our client’s business.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Respond to accountancy queries raised by colleagues within the network, providing expert advice and support.
  • Participate in relationship-building events with existing and potential clients to strengthen network ties.
  • Monitor and update support site pages relevant to your role.
  • Engage in training and project work within the network to support ongoing development and address emerging needs.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality client service and contribute to team objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accounting qualification ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or qualified by experience with at least 7 years in a practice role. Part-qualified candidates will also be considered.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of accountancy developments and a willingness to share insights.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Office 365.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Tactful, diplomatic, and trustworthy.
