Keeler Recruitment are working exclusively with a respected and growing business in Norwich to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. You will play a key role within the finance team, ensuring accurate management of the sales ledger, minimising credit risk, and building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams. This is a busy role that requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the sales ledger and credit control function
- Monitoring customer credit, ensuring payments are received within agreed terms
- Processing payments, invoices, credit notes, and reconciliations
- Liaising with insurers, credit agencies, and internal stakeholders to minimise risk
- Actively chasing debtors and resolving queries quickly and professionally
- Preparing and distributing customer statements and reports
- Supporting the wider finance team when required
About You:
- Proven experience in a Credit Control role
- Strong IT skills, ideally with Kerridge, Sage, and Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy finance environment
- A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A confident team player with a professional and proactive approach
