Credit Controller

Keeler Recruitment are working exclusively with a respected and growing business in Norwich to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. You will play a key role within the finance team, ensuring accurate management of the sales ledger, minimising credit risk, and building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams. This is a busy role that requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales ledger and credit control function
  • Monitoring customer credit, ensuring payments are received within agreed terms
  • Processing payments, invoices, credit notes, and reconciliations
  • Liaising with insurers, credit agencies, and internal stakeholders to minimise risk
  • Actively chasing debtors and resolving queries quickly and professionally
  • Preparing and distributing customer statements and reports
  • Supporting the wider finance team when required

About You:

  • Proven experience in a Credit Control role
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with Kerridge, Sage, and Excel
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy finance environment
  • A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A confident team player with a professional and proactive approach
