Customer Service Advisor

Location: NorwichContract Type: Full-Time, temporary until end of September - could be extended Department: Internal Sales Team 

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Internal Sales Team at our Norwich site. This is a full-time position providing essential support during a period of departmental change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email, delivering exceptional service at all times.
  • Accurately process customer orders in line with key performance indicators.
  • Handle customer complaints in accordance with business processes, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with our haulage partner to resolve logistical issues and ensure optimal outcomes for customers.
  • Proactively identify and address potential logistical and manufacturing challenges using internal systems.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Recommend service improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong numeracy.
  • A genuine passion for customer care.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • High accuracy in data entry and general ICT proficiency.
  • Sound decision-making aligned with business processes.
  • Integrity and ownership in resolving customer service issues.
