About the Role:
- Position: Grounds Maintenance Assistant
- Location: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital - Colney, South Norfolk
- Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)
- Start Date: ASAP - May 2025
- Working Pattern: Full Time - Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm (Required to work every 3rd weekend)
- Hourly Rate: 12.21
What You'll Do:
As a Grounds Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping our hospital gardens, and public spaces looking their best. Your daily tasks will include:
- Mowing and maintaining lawns
- Pruning plants and shrubs
- Weeding flower beds and pathways
- Assisting with planting and landscaping projects
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and used safely
