If you have a "can do" attitude and enjoy tackling technical challenges, this could be the perfect role for you!REED Technology are working with a client who require an IT Support Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for end-users, providing top-notch technical support via phone, email, and in-person. You'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring our IT systems run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Resolving technical issues and providing excellent customer service.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.
  • Performing regular system maintenance and updates.
  • Assisting with the setup and deployment of new equipment.
  • Keeping accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Collaborating with the IT team to solve complex problems.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience troubleshooting software in a Windows desktop environment.
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve IT hardware issues.
  • A solid understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN).
  • Previous experience in an IT help desk service.
  • Good knowledge of printers and multifunction devices.
  • Your own transport to move IT equipment as needed.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ and N+ certifications.
  • InTune experience
