We are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to maintain the effectiveness of our repairs and services, providing a comprehensive support service to our residents, customers, operatives, contractors, external clients, and suppliers. This role is crucial in assisting our Contracts Managers to lead and motivate the operations team, ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused service.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the repairs and maintenance team providing support to tenants and operatives.
  • Coordinate and process repair orders, schedule resources efficiently, and provide timely appointments to customers within agreed priorities.
  • Monitor and review performance delivery continuously, making real-time adjustments to work diaries to maximize resource utilization.
  • Provide administrative support across the team, handle reception duties as needed, and assist with the coordination of rubbish collections.
  • Support Contracts Managers in managing supplier and subcontractor relationships and handle daily liaison to maintain service standards.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and service failures, ensuring the highest levels of customer care and confidentiality in line with Data Protection and Health & Safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations support or a similar role, preferably within a maintenance or repairs service environment.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Competency in using IT systems and general office software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
