Your new companyYou will be working for a national contractor who specialises in creating projects that positively impact the community in which they are built. Your new roleWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of a mixed commercial/residential development near Norwich. You'll work closely with the commercial team, site management, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective delivery without compromising on quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
  • Conduct tender analysis and subcontractor procurement
  • Monitor project progress and prepare valuations and variations
  • Manage risk, value engineering, and cost control processes
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
  • Provide accurate reporting to senior management and stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on build projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC)
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • RICS accreditation (or working towards) is desirable.
