Are you an experienced Financial Planning Administrator looking for a more involved and rewarding role? Join a boutique Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice in the heart of Nottingham, working in a tight-knit, supportive team environment with real career progression opportunities.
The CompanyThis well-established boutique IFA firm forms part of a respected private insurance brokerage with 40-50 staff and a strong local presence. The IFA division is comprised of 3 Financial Planners and a support team of 5, working collaboratively to deliver tailored, client-centric financial advice.
The RoleYou will work closely on a 1:1 basis with a Senior Financial Planner, acting as their dedicated administrator. This is an engaging and varied position that goes beyond standard back-office tasks. You’ll be a key point of contact for clients and take ownership of the adviser’s administrative workload (excluding paraplanning), enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality advice.
Key Responsibilities:-
End-to-end administration for new and existing business across pensions, investments, and protection

Processing Letters of Authority and liaising with providers

Managing the adviser’s diary, booking meetings, and coordinating client communications

Attending some client meetings and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships

Maintaining and updating client records using Intelligent Office (or similar CRM systems)

Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties

Previous experience in an IFA / Wealth Management admin role is essential

Familiarity with Intelligent Office is highly desirable (or similar systems)

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
