A geotechnical contractor based in Nottingham is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join their team on a huge variety of projects. The company offers an excellent first position for a graduate to develop their skills and kickstart their career.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. These include carrying out Phase 1 Desktop Studies, Phase 2 ground investigations, assisting with site walkovers, writing factual reports, carrying out soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring and observing day to day tasks in contribution to training.

The successful Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will:

  • Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, civil engineering with a focus on geotechnics, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  • Hold a full UK Driving licence.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
  • Live commutable to Nottingham.
  • Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
  • Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
