Asset Care Technician Summary:

The Asset Care Technician is responsible for maintaining and changing over key production equipment in accordance with daily schedules and planned preventative maintenance. This is a proactive maintenance role, focused on minimising downtime and ensuring production readiness. Reactive tasks are limited to failure of designated components.

Asset Care Technician Responsibilities:
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance on machinery including Rademaker, Foil Dispenser, Blockers, Tamper, Ejector, Mini Pie Line, Crimpers, Optimum Line, and more
  • Complete planned equipment changeovers in line with the production plan
  • Perform inspections, lubrications, and basic non-technical PPMs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure the die man room is clean and audit-ready
  • Report and escalate issues with change parts or tools to the relevant teams

Requirements:
  • Experience with mechanical maintenance and production line changeovers
  • Familiarity with PPM systems and production line tooling
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas
  • Engineering qualification
