We are seeking a dedicated Contract Officer to join a Public Sector organisation based in Nottingham on an interim basis. You will be responsible for managing Public Health contracts and coordinating the contract process.

Description

  • Manage public health service contracts, including tracking provider performance, analysing monitoring data, preparing performance reports, and supporting service development initiatives.
  • Coordinating the contract process, including gathering contract details and variations, issuing documents for signature, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate digital records. Organising quarterly performance review meetings, taking notes, and sharing key outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Track and report on contract performance and implement improvement measures when necessary.
  • Manage supplier relationships and handle any disputes professionally.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes within the company.

Profile

A successful Contract Officer should have:

  • Previous Contract Management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams is essential.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
