This is one of those rare opportunities where you’ll get to step into a business that’s growing rapidly, investing heavily, and genuinely values what finance can bring.
We’re recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a values-led, product-driven company that’s scaling fast — turnover currently sits at £90m, with plans to almost double in the next few years. They're privately owned, operate internationally, and continue to invest in people, systems, and sustainability.
Why this stands out:
- It’s a business with real purpose — values-led leadership, a strong sustainability mission, and a brilliant product
- Turnover’s growing fast and so is the finance team — there’s genuine scope for progression
- A hybrid setup that works: 3 days in the office, 2 from home, and early Friday finishes
- You’ll be supported by a high-calibre CFO who are building something special
- The team culture is collaborative, down-to-earth, and focused on doing things better — not just keeping the wheels turning
The role:
You’ll take ownership of group and subsidiary management accounts and lead a small team of two Management Accountants. This is a rounded role that blends BAU with project work — roughly 50/50 — giving you exposure to both the numbers and the bigger picture.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering accurate and insightful monthly management accounts
- Leading all things stock: valuation, ageing, provisioning, costing
- Gross margin analysis, cost centre reviews, and product costing controls
- Coaching, supporting, and developing two Management Accountants
- Driving improvements across processes, controls, and reporting
- Working closely with the wider business and providing insight to support commercial decisions
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and project-based work alongside FP&A
What we’re looking for:
- A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Background in stock-heavy, product-based environments
- Hands-on and detail-oriented, but with a commercial mindset
- Experience using ERP systems (Navision a bonus, but not essential)
- Someone confident leading others – or ready to step into a leadership role for the first time
The package:
- Salary: £55,000 – £62,000
- Bonus: Up to 10%
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Early Friday finish and hybrid working (3 days office / 2 from home)
- EV car scheme, generous staff discount, and ongoing learning & development
If you’re looking for a role where you can have real impact, with the support, headroom, and leadership to help you grow — this could be it.
