EC&I Technician
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 (DOE) + On-Call Allowance (£1,700-£3,000) + 12% Quarterly Bonus
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-2:00pm
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled EC&I Technician to join a leading industrial facility in Nottingham. This site known for their commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability is undergoing a lot of investment and are contantly growing. This is a hands-on, varied role working as part of a small maintenance team within a heavy industrial environment. The successful candidate will be involved in both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repair across a wide range of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
Skills required for the EC&I Technician :
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
 - Calibrate and maintain instrumentation.
 - Experience with Beamex is preferred, but training is also provided
 
- Must come from a heavy/ Industrial environment (Steam, Power Gen, Recycling. Brick, Building Mats, Navy Marines, Petro Chemical , Offshore, steel
 - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
 - Participate in a 1-in-3/4/5 week on-call rota, with paid bonuses and overtime.
 - Support continuous improvement initiatives and plant upgrades.
 - Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
 - Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
