Senior Paraplanner / Office Manager

Location: Nottingham Business Park (Hybrid working available)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Opportunity

A well-established Wealth Management firm based in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Paraplanner / Office Manager to join their team in a broad and varied role combining Paraplanning, Operational Management, and Compliance responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner looking to step into management — or for someone with a background in Operations or Compliance within financial services who also has experience with suitability reports or report writing.

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and support the adviser team
  • Manage FCA regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
  • Supervise internal policies, payroll, insurance, and client documentation
  • Lead and support a small admin/paraplanning team
  • Conduct 1:1s, team meetings, appraisals, and training
  • Draft or review suitability reports and conduct file checks where required
  • Manage software licences, supplier contracts, and office operations
  • Coordinate provider communications, internal updates, and meeting agendas
What We’re Looking For

You may be:

  • An experienced Paraplanner ready to step into a leadership/operations role
  • A current Operations or Paraplanning Manager with strong technical understanding
  • A Compliance professional with some experience in report writing

Essential:

  • Background in financial planning/wealth management
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations and compliance processes
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and financial planning tools

Desirable:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (not essential)
