Salary C: to £50k to £58k base ( Dependant on Experience ) + Bonus & Benefits

Our Client provides International Integrated supply chain and distribution services across the UK.

Job Description

Reporting into the MD, you will run this small branch.

This role is Commercially driven & requires someone from a strong Customer focused and Sales background.. Not an outright operator.

You will be responsible for top line sales and bottom line P&L profit.

Key Duties

  • Manage the Business by leading from the front ensuring it is carried out in an effective, safe and professional manner
  • Proactively promote a culture of safe working practices and ensure all members of staff comply with H&S regulations
  • Act as key liaison between Customers and your teams with regards to any queries / complaints or issues arising during the day.
  • Ensure KPI’s and service levels are consistently achieved by effective business planning and utilising staff available.
  • Ability to motivate & instruct others in standard operating procedures and work in a methodical, logical manner, ensuring compliance with contractual targets.
  • Ability to work at pace
  • Checking and maintaining the warehouse and compliance with Health and Safety and company regulations.

Requirements

P&L / Budget Responsible, attention to detail/ accuracy. Conscientious and reliable

Able to work without direct supervision

Adaptable approach to work/ training

Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information

Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure

Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines

Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent

Able to work as part of a team or individually

Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level
