Manufacturing Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead all aspects of production within a fast-paced, high-volume, low-value print manufacturing environment. You’ll be managing two direct reports and a wider team of 40+ operatives, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently while hitting key KPIs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing end-to-end manufacturing operations, including plant, equipment, and facilities
  • Leading and developing a motivated, high-performing team
  • Setting and achieving daily/weekly/monthly production targets
  • Driving continuous improvement (Lean, Theory of Constraints, 5S)
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Design, and Finance
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and H&S regulations
  • Supporting business goals around customer satisfaction, lead times, and cost-efficiency

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven leadership in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, CI and theory of constraints
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on team development and coaching
  • Comfortable with high-volume bespoke product output under short lead times
  • Confident in planning, reporting and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Bonus if you have:

  • Print manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of digitised workflows and variable data management
  • Experience working within an SME where flexibility is key
