Approach Personnle are currently seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead a firestopping project in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects with a specific focus on passive fire protection and firestopping systems.

You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health and safety and fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervision of subcontractors and direct labour

  • Coordination and scheduling of firestopping works in line with project timelines

  • Ensuring strict compliance with fire safety and building regulations

  • Quality control and assurance of all firestopping installations

  • Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

  • Liaison with the client, project managers, and suppliers

  • Reporting progress and site issues to senior management

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing firestopping or passive fire protection projects

  • SMSTS

  • CSCS Card

  • First Aid at Work qualification

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to lead a team effectively in a high-pressure environment
