Approach Personnle are currently seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead a firestopping project in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects with a specific focus on passive fire protection and firestopping systems.
You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health and safety and fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of the site, including supervision of subcontractors and direct labour

Coordination and scheduling of firestopping works in line with project timelines

Ensuring strict compliance with fire safety and building regulations

Quality control and assurance of all firestopping installations

Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

Liaison with the client, project managers, and suppliers

Reporting progress and site issues to senior management
Requirements:

Proven experience managing firestopping or passive fire protection projects

SMSTS
-
CSCS Card
-
First Aid at Work qualification

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to lead a team effectively in a high-pressure environment
