Job Overview:
Our client is searching for a highly competent HVAC Maintenance Engineer to become a valuable part of their established maintenance division.
Core Duties:
As an integral part of the team, the HVAC Maintenance Engineer will undertake a variety of HVAC and general building maintenance works. This encompasses routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), advanced fault identification, and rapid breakdown repairs across diverse Air Conditioning building services systems and associated infrastructure. A key aspect will be troubleshooting and resolving temperature discrepancies by making adjustments to Building Management Systems (BMS). Furthermore, you will be expected to complete essential mechanical tasks such as maintaining belts, motors, and valves. The role also includes carrying out minor installation projects, and you must be adept at communicating technical diagnostics clearly to relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Abilities:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.
- An accredited NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning.
- F-GAS 2079 CAT1 qualification.
- Comfort and capability to work at height, which includes accessing roofs, using steps and ladders, and operating MEWPs.
- Proficiency in operating and managing the CAFM system through an iPad.
