Learning Support Assistant - NG2
Location: NG2 (Nottingham)
Day Rate: 95-105 per day
Contract: Fixed Term - Academic Year
Hours: Full Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: September 2025
We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school environment in the NG2 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to children's learning, wellbeing and development.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with varying needs
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in learning
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress
- Help prepare resources, displays, and learning materials
- Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils can access the curriculum
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children in a school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
- Understanding of SEND strategies and personalised learning approaches
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting children
- A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to different learning environments
