Our client, a key player in the energy infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to join their team in Nottingham. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the electricity transmission and distribution networks, playing a vital role in the transition to net zero.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiating with high-value sub-contractors and suppliers, particularly from construction, utilities, or project environments
  • Developing strategies and tracking procurement metrics
  • Ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the supply chain
  • Identifying, selecting, and managing strategic partners using category management principles
  • Collaborating with different teams across the Group to share learnings and improve procurement processes
Job Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in procurement, ideally within a bids or category management environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship skills
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a strategic mindset
  • Ability to travel occasionally to Solihull
