Financial Planning Administrator (Fixed Term Contract 12 months)
Location: Nuneaton (Operate a rota for in-office days, so candidates should be comfortable with being in up to 5 days per week some weeks)
Salary: to £28,000 pa + benefits (Our Ref AL1368)
My client is an established and leading wealth management company and they now have an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join their team.
As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will be part of a fast-paced team who provide administration support working closely with advisers and clients to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
Day to day duties include gathering data, producing review packs, processing new business, dealing with letters of authority, updating client files and liaising with a variety of different providers.
Role Responsibilities:
- File preparation for new and existing client reviews including valuation reports
- Overseeing and processing new business applications, withdrawals, drawdown and fund switches
- To ensure that files remain compliant at all times
- To maintain and update client records on our back-office system (Intelligent Office)
- To gather sufficient information on existing plans/arrangements to enable adviser to review our client’s needs
- To ensure that all necessary plan information, forms and illustrations (where applicable) are available
- To structure letters to providers and clients
- Arrange client meetings and manage diaries
- General client servicing (e.g. Chasing LOA’s, address changes, liaising with product providers and third parties etc)
- To answer telephone calls and other general administrative duties such as filing/scanning/post
- Meet and greet clients for face-to-face appointments
- Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience providing administrative support, ideally to advisers within a wealth management organisation
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Demonstrable pensions and investment product knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Prioritise and plan own workload, with an ability to effectively manage own time and achieve strict time scales
- Working towards the CII Level 4 qualification desirable but not essential
- A knowledge of Intelligent Office desirable but essential
