Clerk of Works required to work for a large consultancy on a local authority Voids contract. The Clerk of Works is required to start immediately, working with a close knit team on residential properties. Clerk of Works duties:
  • Produce detailed weekly reports on progress and quality, highlighting any issues and necessary remedial actions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Ensure quality of works on site, timings of the project and material orders are all in line
  • Manage the snagging and defect resolution process, ensuring issues are recorded, reported, and addressed efficiently
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams.
  • Have a thorough understanding of construction methods & regulations
  • Bring extensive experience as a Clerk of Works on residential projects, ideally with Housing Association clients.
