Clerk of Works required to work for a large consultancy on a local authority Voids contract.

The Clerk of Works is required to start immediately, working with a close knit team on residential properties.

Clerk of Works duties:

Produce detailed weekly reports on progress and quality, highlighting any issues and necessary remedial actions.
Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress and ensure adherence to specifications.
Ensure quality of works on site, timings of the project and material orders are all in line
Manage the snagging and defect resolution process, ensuring issues are recorded, reported, and addressed efficiently

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project teams.
Have a thorough understanding of construction methods & regulations
Bring extensive experience as a Clerk of Works on residential projects, ideally with Housing Association clients.
