Reed Further Education is excited to support the recruitment for a passionate and dedicated Progress Support Tutor to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, inspirational, and ready to contribute significantly to the ongoing success and growth of our students and the institution.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide both academic and pastoral support to students, enhancing their learning and personal development.
  • Lead group sessions effectively, both face-to-face and remotely, focusing on students' emotional and academic well-being.
  • Proactively work with students on their employability and life skills, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to offer comprehensive support to students.
  • Participate in college recruitment activities and contribute to the enrichment programme.
  • Manage administrative duties relevant to the role, including record-keeping and data provision.
  • Engage in the development and delivery of induction programmes and various student activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High level of organisational ability and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in leading group sessions and providing student-facing support.
  • A good standard of education, minimum of A-level or equivalent, is essential.
  • Experience in educational settings, particularly in providing pastoral care and academic support, is highly desirable.
