Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Production Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality in our manufacturing operations. This position requires a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain schematics for production equipment and processes.
- Utilise SolidWorks and Simulink for system design and modelling.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production processes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in mechanical designs.
- Provide mechanical knowledge to support the development of new products and processes.
- Use LabView and MATLAB for data analysis and process control.
- Maintain documentation of engineering processes, designs, and modifications.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in logic controllers and system design methodologies.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a logical approach to engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.
